Editing & Notes
First 10 Pages Edit: $25
For a limited time, until May 31st, I will read and edit your script as if I were editing my own material. That means I will go line by line making edits and notes as needed. If something needs work—be it dialogue, slug line, action line, character, or scene work—I'll specify what I think the issue is and suggest how to improve it. For the parts of the script that I believe work, I'll note that too, specifying why I think they are good.
In addition to this read-through/edit, I will also include final comments, where I assess the overall merits of the script and your writing and offer suggestions on ways to improve both.
If you like my work and want editing and notes on your entire script, I charge an additional $100 for scripts up to 130 pages.
Turn-around time for 10 pages: 3 days
Full script: 14 days
Timeframes are maximums. I may get the work back to you sooner.
Polishes & Revisions
For a polish or script revision, I prefer to have a discussion first. Polishes and revisions require writing on my part, and before I do that, I want to clearly understanding what the producer or screenwriter has in mind for the script. SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS
All scripts begin with a First 10 Pages Edit. I want clients to see what my editing work looks like before committing to a full script review.
We use PAYPAL.
After payment, submit your ten pages by PDF only. Send it to:
Please include your Paypal receipt name and the title of your script in your email.
Within three days you will receive a PDF showing my original handwritten edits & notes and a WORD DOCUMENT detailing all edits & notes page by page.
For a FULL SCRIPT EDIT, allow 14 days after submission for completion of the edit.
